Right now i have 1995 grand cherokee limited and it was wrecked which bent the control arm on the front axle and have seen that it bent the frame where the control arm is bolted to push it up some.
so now it seems that it is a junk jeep now.
found a 1994 grand cherokee limited and was wondering if all my parts on the 1995 will work on it.
after i take some off of it then i am going to part the rest of it out.
thank you

one year lower, wait on a mint 93
they're out there...
I would definitely hold out on the 95's and above, OBD2 turns em into slugs and there are more engine upgrades for pre-obd2 vehicles in general.
only problem with the 94 imo would be it's auto box but should still have ujoint axles and a 231 case, quality interior components and switches, ect. ect...

OBD II didn't start till 96 and yes it'll all swap. And I've never seen a Grand with a 231 T-case unless it was swapped in. They came with 242s which are almost as good and 249 and 247 which are AWD and mostly junk. I had a 93 with a 249 and swapped in a 242 (would have rather had a 231 but it was in the garage) and it was a bolt in swap. That isn't always the case but the 94 won't be much different than 95 with the exception of trim levels.
I didn't realize that Jeeps OBD2 started in 96 ? I find it on most 95 model years, which one would think it would be even a year or two earlier than the rest of cars out there considering Chrysler invented (On Board Diagnostics)
My ZJ has a 231 case and an AW-4 trans standard from the factory...

Not sure what year ZJ you got but everything I can find on them says the only cases they had were AWD (249 and 247) and the part time and full time 242. It's shift patterns was 2hi 4hi full time 4hi part time N and 4lo. The 231 doesn't have 4hi full time.
