2001 grand cherokee larado, 4.7L WHERE IS THE THERMOSTAT?

 

located on the lower radiator hose bottom right side front of engine

 

it is a plastic housing, which often times is leaking coolant when the engine is cold. Be careful replacing the thermostat because the 10mm(6x25mm) bolts that hold it together break pretty easy if you over tighten them
