temperature gauge vs infrared thermometer
I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L AT. I decided to check my temperature gauge by comparing the reading to infrared thermometer reading taken on the thermostat housing. I created this graphic with the results. The infrared reading are above the dial. Result, The temperature gauge is reading low.
