t case help
i have a 97 grand cherokee limited 5.2 and my tcase split in 2 it's been lifted enough to accommodate a set of 35/12.50/15s my question is will the tcase out of a Laredo with the option of 2 wheel drive fit and if so what mods would be nessasary

I'm not up on the different numbers, but I think he's referring to the t-case that has 2wd, part-time 4wd, full-time 4wd, N, and 4-Lo. I might be wrong though.

Yup it will fit. One thing you will have to check though is the spline count on your tail shaft. Thee is 21 and 23 spline. You might have to swap the front yoke, but I don't think so. If you do go to a 231, get the shifter out of the console to go with it.

a 242 would be an easier swap and you might need the driveshaft/s as well and some rewiring if you want the VIC to show what range your in
