hey guys i have been searching the web for the last 3 hours to try to find the stock height of a WJ. Im trying to convince my wife that a WJ would be way better than her lifted Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Pretty much wanna sell the Sport Trac and my XJ and buy a WJ and build it. but my wife has to wear a skirt/dress for work so it cant be a 6" on 35s like i would want so im thinking 3" RK long arm lift on 33s. so im looking for the height it would be to where she would get in from the ground. so the door or floor to the ground height would be awesome. Thanks in advance

Do a ZJ leather/power seat swap and get a nice flip out stereo deck with GPS.

Oh...and you'll never clear 33's with a 3" lift on a WJ without some extensive cutting on the fenders and fender wells. There just isn't that much room under there. You could buy some gender flares(bushwacker is about to release a set for WJ's), but that's about the only way. I have a 2" coil lift w/ 2" spacers on mine and 265/75/r16's was is as big as I could go w/o some serious rubbing.

I can't find anywhere that has the ground to rocker panel measurement. I'm going to guess on a stock WJ it'd be somewhere around 12"-14".

If you like the Rock Krawler kit you'll have to get it through a third party that has some leftover in stock. RK stopped making WJ kits so they could focus on JK and WK.

I just measured ours. On our stock '04 WJ w/245x70x16"s, the measurement to the sill plate on top of the rocker inside the open door is 17 & 1/2". There's another 1 &1/2" lip above that to clear before it drops over into the front floor area.
Total height from garage floor to inside top to clear with leg is 19" when getting in. My wife drives the WJ too.
