Default Squeaking, popping

When driving, my front left tire/area seems to squeak. And just recently, whenever I take my foot off the gas pedal, I hear and even feel a "popping sound". It happens every time I take my foot off the accelerator.... "Pop" and I feel a slight vibration underneath my foot. Any idea what this is? It seems serious.

Its almost impossible to diag a noise over the net. Sometiimes it helps to have a buddy try to duplicate the noise while you are down there looking for the culprit. A noise like this could ba a number of things. You are going to have to start checking everything for wear/looseness.

It kinda sounds like a control arm bushing since you can feel it in the floor and these are pretty notorius for rotting out. I would also check the motor mounts too, especially the drivers side. If the squeek sounds "rotational" it could a u-joint in the axle or front driveshaft, check these for wear or looseness too.

I would say either its a messed up cv axle shaft or hub assembly. If you can take it apart check to see if the hub assembly as play to the left and right. If it does then you need new bearings or assembly.
