Ok, I swapped in a 93 231 out of my buddies ZJ. Speedo wasn't working, Swapped in my old sensor and the speedo still doesn't work. Anyone got a clue why? Is there a proper way to get the gear on the speed sensor to mesh with the shaft? It is the only thing I can think of as to why it isn't working.

 

nevermind. i found the info in my haynes book. have to clock the numbers on the pinion adapter to 6 oclock. no idea what that does or how that works or where 6 oclock is but yeah.....
