Small leak... Worry??
Im pretty meticilous when it comes to my Jeep, and today while cleaning my suspention i noticed that there is a bit of oil that gathers up right under this part...
I wiped it the week before working on my exhaust, but its back again.
I don't THINK its serious but i would like to know where its coming from so i can tighten/replace a gasket.
thanks guys!

Well it looks like you are saying that the oil is collecting at the back of the engine/pan area and arounf the front of the trans bellhousing. The first guess might be a engine rear main seal, but first make sure the oil is not coming from up front and/or running down one of the sides of the oil pan. Sometimes is easier to clean the area thoroughly, and monitor the leak for a few days and see where its coming from.
possible things/area to look at are: Oil pan gasket, oil filter seal, oil filter adapter seal, front timing cover, front crank seal etc... all of these could be leaking oil and it can run back down the oil pan to the rear of engine.
If your sure its motor oil and not trans fluid, the trans could be leaking from the pump gasket or more commonly the convertor/input-front seal.

^x2 clean everything good so you can pin point the leak...my oil filter adapter was shot and i had oil running down the oil pan making it look like it was coming from my rear main seal...so ya never know till you can find the source
