side mirror question
Hey guys, I've had a couple XJs for a while now, and "just" bought a 1998 Grand 5.9 Limited with fluid in the driver's side mirror (water?). Although it looks like crap, I'm willing to put up with it if it's safe in terms of electronics (ie; is there a heating element, etc. that might go screwy?).
Thanks to the experts in advance!

Your auto dimming mirror isn't working anymore. Same thing happened to mine. I cracked the black trim around the glass towards the bottom and let the fluid drain out. It's easier to see out of but it still isn't the best.
You can leave it with out any ill side effects on anything.
