Default security issue

on my zj when you put in the running light fuse the security lights start blinking what would cause that and can it be disabled? its a 93

The #5 interior lamp fuse also provides power to the Security lamp in the instrument cluster.

Your Jeep is in Security Mode. You have to insert key into the ignition and start the Jeep and that should disable it. If you have the factory remote you can do it from the remote. If that doesn't work, you'll need to access the security module, which I believe is located behind the glove box, and will require some dashboard disassembly. I believe there's also a relay in the relay compartment under the hood.

The Security Mode is disabled by manually unlocking one of the three doors w/ the key, or by unlocking w/ the IR remote.
