hiya,
i hoping this is a simple a straightforward job but this is what I'm planning to do... i am based in the UK so only really know by engine sizes....
i want to buy a grand cherokee but have three kids therefore require three 3x3 seat belts in the rear. The trucks this start on is the 2.7crd 2001 51 plate onwards however I've found a top notch 3.1td "Y" reg which has a lap strap for the middle belt..my question is if i buy this truck and can source a leather seat {base and back with 3x3 seat belt fitted} will it just drop in to the seat position on the 3.1 variant?? body shape they are the same truck {WJ} so I'm 99% certain of the answer but does anyone else know for sure?

The belts are attached to the FLOOR and have nothing to do with the seats. The only vehicle I've seen that had the belts attached to the seat was the Dodge Caravan.
