Seat Belt Alert
I have a 2011 Cherokee and I found out how to turn off the seat belt alert. While the alert stopped going off the msg still pops up on the dashboard display and I have to hit "back" on the steering wheel. Is there a way to stop the msg from popping up?

You could always locate the sensor wires (generally near the floor by the bolt holding the seat belt clip on), snip em and twist them together. That way the vehicle always thinks you are wearing the seatbelt and has no reason to whine

Why are you screwing around with the restraint system on a brand new vehicle? If you wear the seat belt, the warning will go off.

The debate doesn't need to be had here, but it goes either way with the belt. I had one occasion where it saved me but screwed me up, and two accidents where not having the seatbelt on saved my life.
I disabled it in my Jeep. My Escape also when I had it, because i got tired of hearing "ding ding ding ding ding" every thirty seconds.
