Default runs, but like crap

99GC

still runs like crap.

Changed spark plugs, put in my old injectors, uncorked my exhaust in case my converter was plugged. runs the same. idles ok, just runs erratic and vibrates a little.

I put the scanner to it, only codes that came up were the ones for when i pulled the wires to the #1 and #2 injectors and switched them around.

Cleared the codes, drove it for 7 miles and ran it off and on all day at my shop with no more codes popping up.

Could the crank positioning sensor get damaged yet still function a little and cause it to read a little off and make it run funny ?

Stupid question, but do you have the new ECU or did you use the one from your WJ? And are you using the new engines wiring harness?

CPS's either work or they don't, and if they don't work, your jeep simply will not start, it won't produce spark... No way about it...

Hmmm, there is no way to put the flywheel on wrong, it only bolts on one way, so that cant be whats wrong.

has to be timing.
