rough idle and forum question - please help..
Hey all, new to this forum so I don't even know if I am posting my question in the right place... is this where I can ask a question about my jeep's rough performance asnof late? If not, where can I post it so I can get some answers? / where anyone can see it?
This is the situation:
I bought a 2013 Jeep grand cherokee 4x4 a few months ago with 43000 km on it now it has 67000 (high k's but I use it for my job). It has had great performance until the last couple of weeks. Now when I sit at a red light in drive it idles roughly and randomly. One minute its smooth n so quiet n suddenly it goes rough for a few seconds shudders hard and I feel it in steering wheel and foot pedals and then it's quiet again... it starts fine drives fine but this is very concerning and annoying as it has always been so smooth til now.. does anyone have any suggestions? Been very well maintained also. It also seems to be wprse or more noticable in the warmer weather but that may be my imagination.. Please help. Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Jeep forum.
Yes, your post is in the right section. Basically read the different forum titles and place your question or comments where they best fit in. Also please contribute when you can and help others forum members as often as possible. The old what goes around comes around truly applies. Again welcome.
Nice truck, congrats! One quick though and I'm sure other more knowledgeable members will chime in is.
I'm no tech but have you had a chance to stop by a local parts store and ask them to check and see if you have any codes coming from your computer system? Most may not think to do this unless check engine light is on but it costs nothing and just maybe you get something? What about calling the dealer and asking one of the service writers?
You've had it for a few months, may I ask what your referring to when you say its been well maintained ?
Do you have any of the service records or where it was maintained? You may want to try and get some of those records, newer truck, had to be serviced where it was purchased ?
Well. Good luck with your car Coote, I wish you well with your repair. Good night.
