resetting key fob

resetting key fob
its an 05 jeep grand cherokee and i cant get the key fob to reset i had to replace the batteryies in the fob, i did this before on my taurus sho but the same method does not work on the jeep any ideas..

Call a dealer and talk to a tech. They usually don't mind telling you the easy stuff. However it might be like my Subaru key fob. They have to use a comp. connected to the DLC to program the new (or old) fob.
