2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Recently had to replace the driver side rear door lock actuator. Removed door panel but still wasn't able to remove the actuator. Eventually removed the rear door and was able to remove old actuator and install the new one. Reinstalled the door and lock works great but now the door isn't properly aligned and is too tight where front and rear doors meet. Any suggestions on how to get the rear door properly aligned would be much appreciated.

best thing would have been to mark the hinges before removing it.
Now, it's going to be more of a trial and error or atleast that's how it's
always worked for me.

Wood block and a hammer with the bolts just barley loose. Close the door and use the block of wood and hammer to tap on the hinges when you think you have it close the front door and look at it. If its good tighten the bolts. Just remember not to hit to hard cuz if you hit it to far you have to start all over.

Close the door and loosen the hinge mounting bolts just enough to where is take a little force to move the hinges, now kind of work the door into place and tighten the hinge bolts. Keep doing that until the gaps look good and there is no binding when opening and closing the door.
