Default Rebuilt 4.0 GC - anything special when I first crank it up?

Okay, so I got a new set of piston/rings, new block (old one had hole...long story), crank micro ground and checked, all the rods and main bearings plastiguaged okay and everything else checked out okay, head surfaced, cleaned and vacuum checked, cylinders honed and looking nice, got it back in the GC, putting break-in oil in the thing and getting the distributor lined up.

After that, I was thinking about cranking the thing with the coil wire disconnected so the new oil pump has a chance to suck up oil and pressurize all the bearing surfaces that were cleaned/replaced. Is there anything else I should be doing/watching? I put oil on the bearings I touched (and lifters), but there's a lot of things that probably are still bare clean metal in the meantime. After all this work I'd really hate to screw something minor up and shorten the lifespan by 50K in the process somehow
