Rear diff on my 92 is clunking when i let the clutch out.
i have a 90 auto cherokee, are the diffs the same ratio?
the auto diff seems good.

 

The gear ratios are stamped onto a metal tag affixed to the diff cover.

 

You should also double check your universal joints and yokes, as well any insulated hangers in your driveline. If you have wear in any of them, it can cause the clunk in the read differential as the torque is transferred through down the drivetrain.
