seen a few other threads with same issue but no one seemed to have it resolved. so I have a 94 v8 zj that randomly sputters and stalls when shifted out of park. it will also randomly stall while driving but slowing down. I was told it was a crank shaft position sensor. I want to know if this is the culprit before I go out and buy the part and still have the issue. I do have a check engine light and I went to have it read but I needed the old small plug instead of the long thin one.

 

take your multimeter and see if it has any resistance(ohms)

 

Have you checked the throttle body and IAC and give them a cleaning?
That's a common cause for the issue you are having?
