question for you zj guys

i got a surco roof rack, mounts in factory roof tracks with sliding tabs

will it fit a zj the same way? guy wants to trade me a dana 60 if it will fit his zj.

All I can say is try it but I highly doubt it will. But i think you can get the rail clips rather cheap..

The XJ and ZJ side rails are different, but whether or not the sliding "tabs" will interchange I can't say for sure. My money says no though. JMO Sorry.

well im not talking about the drip rails, on sides of roof im talking about the factory rack thaty the bars slide on.

So am I. You can take off the cross-rails, but the side rails are screwed to the roof, and the cross-rails slide on them. Gottcha'.

they are slightly different but close you may need some parts to make it work

cool i told him it might work but i told him he could bolt it to the factory bars like i used to do i think thats stronger neways he is gonna trade me a dana 60 for it. the 60 has 5.13 gears, and a spool. also has 63 inch chevy springs.

now i will just need a front 60 and a steering kit.
