Alright, let me start out by saying that the information I have at this time may not be accurate.

I have a sibling looking to buy a 96 zj, the current owner said that it was stolen out of his driveway a few weeks back, don't worry he has the title to prove he is the owner, and that when he got it back that it wouldn't start. He is convinced that it was hot-wired, and he's found a single cut wire under the steering column, witch is strange because normally 3 wires are cut to start a car, the single wire is reported to be purple and white. Looking at diagrams and wiring color codes I cant find anything that says purple and white. what exactly is this wire to, and what is it doing?
