Default Problems with dome and head lights

I have an 08 Grand Cherokee and have recently started having a couple problems. First, when i open my doors my interior lights do not automatically come on anymore and im not sure why. Second, my headlights done come up to the horizon anymore when i turn them on. They shine very low and i can only see a few feet ahead of me. any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to CF.
Here's a list of the electrical TSB's for the WK's. ('05-'10 Grand Cherokees). Check and see if any apply to your issues. Click the blue figures to the far left to open the desired file. >http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_tsb.htm#ELECTRICAL

Well check the bulbs and fuses, and then the door switches for the dome.

As for headlights, adjust them.
