Power Seat
Have an '02 GC Overland. The front driver power seat suddenly will not tilt or go up/down. It does move back & forth & the seat back tilts. When I push the button the motor starts (in both directions) but immediately get hung up. I checked & do not see anything caught in the gears. It looks like there are 2 motors. Can anyone tell me which motor is the culprit or if there is anything else I should be checking out?
Thanks,

Hi,
Had simalar issues the way I tackled this is...
The seat to the sub frame is held on by four 10 or 12 mm bolts so
working from the rear get your hand in and remove the nuts. Then if its a heated seat tilt the chair portion of the seat rearwards. If none heated lift it out the wat. Then you can see all the motors and small drive shafts. I found the motors would spin but the small flex drive shafts to the rails where not turning on one side so the seat was going all sque ad locking up. Reposition things and lubed them up worked great for me.
Hope the above helps.
