Plug under passenger side seat

Plug under passenger side seat
I noticed there is a loose plug underneath the passenger side seat , right side if your facing the seat. It's not plugged into anything. Anyone know what this is to. The passenger power swat seams to work fine. 94 jeep grand Cherokee.

I have the same thing on my 93 ZJ...noticed there isn't one on the drivers side either...was originally thinkin it was for heated seats, but have no clue, and couldn't find any help on the wiring diagrams...

Found the answer...
that plug is the Airbag Module diagnostic connector. The airbag module is located under the console, next to the Emergency Brake Handle.
