So I have an 02 grand cherokee laredo with an 01 42re tranny thats just recently been giving me shifting issues. The solenoids are good, already tried a filter swap and fluid change. Someone told it could be the tcm but i know it would be the pcm. My biggest question is, could I just pull a pcm from another 2002 grand cherokee laredo without it having to be programmed?? Or would i have to get one online amd have it programmed to my vehicles engine or vin?
