Default Oil Pressure switch removal

Does anyone know how to remove this thing? I tried twisting it off by hand, with socket, with wrench and nothing seems to work.

Any tips/tricks to getting this off please?

I have always just used and open-ended wrench. Is this on a 4.0?

I figured it out. It's a 5.2L V8.

There was this bracket that was preventing me from getting a wrench or a socket in there properly. I just realized this morning that it was a plastic piece and I was able to snap it free. Once I got that out of the way, I was able to get a socket in there and unscrew the crazy thing.

It's changed now. Thanks a mill!

good job,, but be sure you bought a switch with a lifetime warranty..be careful of the OPS that fail in 12 and 1/2 month as what i had before..
