Hey just changed my oil a week ago and this morning i hop in to start my jeep and the pressure fell to 0 every time i pushed the pedal down until it warmed up... its never done this before and would regain to about 50 until i pushed the pedal again. any ideas?

 

First thing to check is the sensor. Then if this is true, probably the oil pump. Worse case scenario is a spun bearing.

 

Last winter it dropped to zero and stayed there for like a week and i replaced like some 50$ sensor or something in the oil system and was fixed after that. not sure if thats the sensor your talking about

 

yea the oil preasure sensor will do that. thats how i got mine for cheap. dude said it wouldnt hold oil preasure told me it had a spun bearing but it wasnt knocking at all even the slightest bit. so i bought it paid 33 bucks for the sensor and no major issue outta it since. so i would start with replacinng the sensor agian and see what happens.

 

yeah i mean it runs like a champ but no pressure till full temp. might try the sensor
