oil in expansion tank no 2
Well I have stripped out the old oil cooler and given her a thorough wash in petrol. - compressed air through the water pipes produces bubbles in the oil chamber, therefore there is a definite hole between the water chamber and the oil chamber.
Obviously the oil at a high pressure has been forcing its way into the waterways and therefore filling the expansion tank with oil.
I now have a question, should I buy a new oil cooler at 400 dollars or try swilling out the old oil cooler with Polyester resin in order to seal the tiny hole.
Oil cooler is part number 05093913AA
Any thoughts anyone ?
