Bought a 93 GC Ltd 5.2 AWD for $900 for my daughter's first vehicle. So far, haven't noticed too much wrong with it. Has 117000 miles on it. Only thing I have a question about is when making tight turns at slow speed, like pulling into a parking place, the rear tires chirp and it takes a bit more on the gas to get it to pull through the turn. I have a 4WD Ranger and it does the same type of thing when in 4wd. Read through some of the previous posts, and all 4 tires are same brand/size. Thinking I should change the oil in the axles, since this vehicle sat for 3 years before I bought it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

If its the rear tires then it might be something in the rear, but sounds like the front tires are binding up, and that transfer case is notorious for going bad.
