OMG! I think you are right! You should start by pulling those plugs and checking for corrosion inside them. Also check the BACK side of the plugs where the wires connect to the pins. Some of the sensor inputs are only 5 volts or less, so good clean connections are critical. I'd start by cleaning the outside with a household spray cleaner to get the dirt and crap off before you start removing the plugs. Also, check the plugs on other sensors like the MAP and throttle position sensor.

Update. Going to need an ECM. I managed to get the old thing able to start but she's running pretty rough. A friend of mine with the same ECM let me swap to test and it runs perfectly. We were even able to go for a little drive. So if anyone knows a place to get a pretty good used ECM for cheap I'd appreciate it. There's a bunch on eBay, but I'm weary since the parts often have no guarantee.

Same ole jeep new issue.
Ok. So I got my new ECM in the mail today. Works like a dream, fires right up, engine runs like a champ, no die outs, couldn't be happier. But while driving it by myself today I noticed a popping coming from under the vehicle. It was doing this when I first got it, so I replaced the front axles. I'm not really a knowledgeable person when it comes to suspensions and stuff so could this be a bad joint or a tie rod end? I'm honestly not sure.
