Hello all. Just joined the forum about five minutes ago. I have been lurking for a few days doing searches on lifts and such. I have a 96 4.0, auto, stocker with 63 k miles. I would like to mod it a little. Nothing crazy. It wont see sand, crawling or any of that. Maybe an occasional trail or field use. It is a daily driver, so nothing nuts or unreliable. Just want it "cooler than stock looking". My question is, what would be a decent lift for daily use, safe, not have to do a sye etc.?? Fender cutting is not out of the question, but not preferred. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry wrong forum. Mods please move. Sorry.

If you're on a tight budget, I would consider this;

If you can spend some money and really want excellent handling and ride qualities, go with OME;

Sorry to have posted in the wrong area. I should have put it in the regular Cherokee area but oh well....
So what everyone is saying is, that with just a 2-3 inch lift no sye or any other mods are needed?

yes if you run a 2 or 3 inch you will not need a sye and some kits they reuse the stock control arms but i would look at a kit that replaces the control arms upper and lower they will be alot stronger and it will ride alot better on the road.
