Default Mysterious Coolant Leak? Need Help!

Hello, I'm Eric and this is my first post and I am hoping I can get some help.

Details:
2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo
Inline 4.0 2WD
140,000 Miles

Okay so I just recently had my engine rebuilt (due to blown head gasket) top and bottom by my friends dad who is a great mechanic that works out of his garage. My engine looked beautiful, just like brand new but had a little leak coming from oil cooler hoses, the connectors were hard to get and my radiator was old anyways so I replaced my radiator, ever since replacing it the coolant tank cannot seem to hold fluid and I do not know where it is going. I have seen it **** out the undercarriage once but every other time I see nothing and just get the "low coolant" warning. The block and fan assy both have blow back on them and my A/C isn't working either (I am in So Cal. and dying). I have been searching for answers and had a tech at my shop take a quick look, he found a pinhole leak on one of my hoses that he cut off and reattached, it ran great that night but the next day the tank was empty again. Online I have seen that the HVAC system can cause this and I hear one of my blend doors or acctuators clicking in my dash or glove box and it sounds like water is sloshing around in there some times. I really don't know where to go from here. My Jeep should be running great right now but she isn't healthy and I can feel it. Any help is greatly appreciated, I thank you in advance.

Welcome to CF!

Check your passenger's side carpet to see if it's soaked with coolant. If it is, you've got a leaking heater core. You can loop the heater hose back into the water pump, thus eliminating the heater, and see if you are still loosing coolant.

Also check your coolant tank. They are made of either plastic or nylon and often leak as well.

Hey Guys, Thank you all for your input. I think I have found it and will find out in the morning when I get back to the shop. Found a small crack in one of my heater hoses, back at the rear of the engine. Ordered some new hose and clamps and a gallon of coolant, gonna swap them out first thing and burp the radiator, hope that will take care of it. Thanks again for replying, I really appreciate it.
