my 93 grand cherokee
i just bought a 93 quad track and the abs light stays on. there was a wheel sensor cut so i replaced it now as long as your on flat ground the 4 wheel drive works, what would cause that. also where is the abs scan port its not where the book says i would kindly like some input please. im a jeeper for life so help me out please.

Welcome to the forum.
There are three diagnostic connectors, for the DRB II, on the first gen ZJ. The engine connector is under the hood, near the PCM. The ABS connector is near the gas pedal, high on the hump. The airbag connector is near the passenger seat, just below the center console, high on the hump.
The ABS controller will store a fault, for something like 50 ignition cycles, unless cleared by the DRB II.
