Is there anything special I would need if I put a 4.o out of a 98 tj in my 96 zj? I was thinking on the lines of transmission mounting. Also is $625 good for a a 4.0 with 90,000 on it? Burned a valve seat out on my way back over Snoqualmie pass here in Washington and it made for a bad (and expensive) trip. It didn't help that the pass was shut down due to avalanche danger either. I am looking at it this way, Go with a new head for about $600 or put this motor in for $625. I am just kind of missing driving her.
