I own a '01 GCL 2WD 6cyl. I bought the thing new and have put some 104K miles on it so far. I recently discovered that it needs new motor mounts and a tranny mount, no big deal. When I went to price these things, I about sh** myself! $120 each for the motor mount and $75 for the trans! I've shopped around and they are pretty much the same everywhere I look. Perhaps it's the cheap-skate in me that has a hard time with this price, because I have never paid more than $18-$20 for a motor mount for other vehicles. Are there any cheaper interchange alternatives or am I looking in the wrong areas?

BTW, the motor mounts will fit from '99-'06 and the trans from "99-'04 (I think)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

As far as I know no there are no cheaper ones.. My motor mounts for my '94 Grand with the 4.0L cost me $110 each. Sorry I couldn't be of more help on this..
