Memory steering problem
I have replaced tie rod ends ball joints trac bar , even had the steering box checked out. The condition I have is if I turn (at road speed)a little right - it stays right, If I turn a little left it stays left. The only change I made was , I went to a larger tire size. What would cause this steering problem? Mike

new tie rods , ball joints , track bar etc. at rod speed = turn a little left it stays turned a little left. Turn a little right , it stays a little right. Only change is a larger set of tires . Any though as to what is going on . Also had had alignment done ?

well, I have come across a few jeeps, and other trucks over the years that would act like that if the ball joints were installed incorrectly or over tightened. Did it do that prior to the parts being replaced?

Did you do an alignment after changing tire sizes? Caster is what returns the steering wheel back to center.
