malfunction indicator light on

malfunction indicator light on
malfunction indicator light came on, went to auto zone they checked obd 2, slight emission leak, changed gas cap cleared code, light came back on two days later. Did the key on off sequence code p0456 displayed,according to auto zone computer p0456 is gas cap, why light still on. what else to look at?
