Default losing my bearings

Hi Guys, new to this forum. Thanks for having me. I have two wranglers '93 & '97. Well i just bought a '04 grand cherokee laredo. I think i need to replace the rear axle bearings. The vehicle has four wheel disc brakes. When i have it jacked up i can wiggle the tire up and down a bit (with a pipe under it ). This is happening on both sides. Do you think it sounds like bearings and if so how hard is it to replace. Any instructions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, it sounds like bearings to me.
On your '04 you need to take the axle shafts to a machine shop after removal to have the old bearings and seals removed and new ones installed.
You should pick you up a haynes or other repair manual for your Jeep. They help a lot sometimes.
And Welcome to CF.
