Hey guys. I need to replace my muffler. Ive got the 92 cherokee laredo 4.0l. Mines full of holes and sounds like a tank. Im only looking to spend around 100 bucks. It doesnt have to look all that fancy but i want something that will be reliable and not overly loud. I plan to have a decent audio setup inside and i dont want it to be overpowered by some fancy *** huge muffler. Ill post some pics see if you guys think i should replace the tail pipe or exhaust pipe. I also dont have any welding tools or skills and would prefer not to have to pay someone to do that. So if there is some kind of muffler that i can just bolt on and shove in thatd be great. Let me know what my options are and what i need

20 dollar thrush turbo mine sounds great and it only has a slight drone....dont waste your money on a flowmaster its never going to sound like a v8

Check out the the exhaust system thread of mine in the vendor section. I can set you up with that kit but an 18" MagnaFlow muffler for a few bucks more. That is the combo I used on the 90 Cherokee I had and it sounded great. It had a little rumble but wasn't overly loud.

Allrighty. 20 dollars doesnt sound too bad. Ill look at the vendor forum. Did you guys look at the pictures? Do you think i need a new exhaust pipe too?
