Default Looking to Buy? ADVICE please

Hey all, I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a jeep but have had poor luck funding a nice jeep in my area. I just recently found one and I need advice on tow questions:
1) is it a good deal? What is a good price?
2) what shoould I look for on inspection and test drive

1) for $2500 'firm' I could pick up a 94 Jeep Cherokee Laredo ('Grand' is not specified, but I'm assuming it is implied since there isn't a Laredo that is not a 'Grand' right?). It is a V6 with about 155,000 miles. New tires. ( I don't know about transmission, type of 4x4 system, or much of anything else). It has a clean interior and exterior with a small dent on the left rear bumper which also cracked the tail light cluster a bit (nothing serious). The rig looks stock with no lift, custom bumper, or other accessories. I sincerely doubt it was taken on trails.

2) What common issues arise from the 94 Cherokee Laredo that I should be looking out for?

Thanks,
Seth

Thats the same jeep I have. I love it. Your getting your cheaper than I got mine though. No problems from mine. But every car will have a few problems. I would check the oil and all other fluids before buying. Make sure there are no burned spots on any dip sticks. look under jeep check for oil buildup dripping fresh fluids. while test driving make sure you can try it on highway and off. Watch all gauges make sure nothing is funny about it.

Why is that such a great deal? KBB says that the asking price is above blue book.
