Default Lifts, axles, drive shafts, sucky mpg and more.

I have a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, and i was wondering about a couple things:

1: Whats missing out of this lift, and why doesnt it have back springs.

2. what will i need to do to the driveshaft and diffs.

3 transmission hesitates between 1 and 2 gear (jumps back and forth)

4. ive changed the dist cap router wires and spark plugs and mpg didnt go up. is it the fuel filter?

5. what kind of trans and diffs and axles do i have?

6. aluminum wheels good for offroading and bigg tires?

7. can i recalibrate the instrument panel after i pulled out needles for new led gauges

if u can answer any please do but make sure ur right :) thanks
