I have an '09 WK and would like to level it. I have seen many simple leveling kits but I would like an opinion on what is preferred. I don't want much of a lift (2" or less), more focus on leveling.

Also, with a minimal lift, I would like to upgrade the tires as well. Suggestions?

 

Just get a leveling kit of 2" and get 30" tires

 

Had a similar problem needing modest suspension enhancement/ stabilization/ leveling for towing. I ended up going with Sumo Springs, which achieved my goal of 2" of support, rig leveled out nicely

 

You put extended springs on a Cherokee? They are a strut assembly.

 

the cherokee is not on struts. The XJ is coil springs and lead Springs... The new cherokee has struts.

 

The Sumo spring system I used is designed to enhance existing suspension, (not an extension), models are available for coil, leaf, and strut suspensions. I used Sumo coils to to take up 2"+ sag not corrected by the load distribution hitch when towing. Possibly this system could meet your objective for leveling.
