Leaking rear shock, 3 in < 1000 miles!!!
I'm stumped, and the dealer is stumped.
I have a 2011 Grand Cherokee, standard base model laredo with 35K. Just before the warranty expired, I crawled under it and found the right rear shock leaking. Hmmm, ok. The dealer warrantied it. One roadtrip later (500 miles, 15 or so miles of easy dirt road), and the shock is leaking on the driveway again. BACK to the dealer.
He replaced it Monday. Today, 5 days and 50 miles later with just paved road commuting, the shock is leaking again.
By leaking, I mean full on dumping fluid on the driveway. The last 2 the dealer said had "exploded".
Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing it? Surely it is not 3 defective shocks in a row. The dealer said everything else looked ok, and doesn't seem to know where to head next with it. I'm not sure where to go with it either, but want to get a resolution while they are still considering it a warranty issue.
Help!

That was one thought. Being new to the jeep world, all of the shock places I have checked don't show a shock for the 2011 Grand Cherokees yet. Do you know if the 5100's fit the 2011 cherokee? With the body update, no one has been able to tell me if they take the same shocks as the 2010.
