anyone know what this fuse is actually for. i cant find anything in the manual or haynes book for identifying this fuse. (1998 grand cherokee laredo 4.0) All i know is every time i put a new one in it blows and prevents the vehicle from starting. It literally took a new ecu to stop it from blowing but the problem is back. Any help with what fuse that is for would be appreciated.

I think thats fuse F20, and powers the ASD relay, among other things. Crawl underneath and check the O2 sensor wiring for any breaks or other damage.

I do appreciate you taking a moment to drop in and answer. This issue has had me pulling out my hair for a few weeks now. I will indeed check the wires on the 02 sensors. Everytime I put the fuse in it pops within seconds.

Thanks for your time, veritasaequita
