How many miles can i expect to get out of my fuel injected 5.2L 318? I currently have 206000 and it seems to run great. Any info? Thanks.

 

Keep the oil changed and you will get another 206 out of it. My mom had 3 318s when I was a kid and never put less than 350,000 on all of them and they still ran good when she sold them.

 

Yep I've been told the 4.0 is second best to the 318 which is saying a lot...

 

all depends on how the motor was taken care of... if someone buys a car and follows the book to a T itll last forever... my dad commuted an hour to work everyday... had a 97 cavalier RS... changed the oil every 5k no matter what (since it was all highway he opted for 5k) changed everything else when the book said... the odometer quit at 324k and he sold it a year later... it was in 5 accidents all minor and none his fault but since it was just to save gas he kept the money and delt with the dents... only thing on that car he had to replace was the front pass wheel bearing kept going out... but that was it... oh and his was a 5 speed which helps on the tranny life... but guess that doesnt matter to you... lol... just do what your SUPPOSE to...
