Default Jgc stalling and won't start no guages working after stall

99 jgc 4.7 stalls after twenty minutes and losses power to all gauges in the dash and won't start back up. If u wiggle the third connector on the PCM. The one towards the drivers side the gauges come back on and will start back up. Any suggestions?

Pull the negative battery terminal. Disconnect the PCM completely. Clean and inspect the connectors, pins and receptacle contacts. Spray the mating faces and weather seals with WD-40. Lightly wipe away oil and dirt deposits. Allow any excess WD-40 spray to run-off and/or evaporate. Guide the connector(s) back into their mating positions being careful to not mismate/misalign any pins. Align the connector body such-that it will be inserted in a straight line to mate as you join them together. If excessive insertion/mating force is needed then back-off, inspect for any bent pins and try again if they're okay. If there were no findings during cleaning and inspecting, once the connectors are well-seated, then you should be good to go. If the problem should recur after this exercise then you may have one of those PCMs with cracked solder joints in the circuit board.

Exactly what my 2000 did when the PCM went out. No codes. First intermittent stalling. Then it got progressively worse and at any speed.

the PCM's tend to fail after a period of time due to the solder joints giving out. if you do a you tube search you will find some videos on re-soldering the joints. on ebay there is a guy selling refurbished and programed PCMs for about $200 if you don't want to do it yourself.
