jeep wont shift out of first gear

jeep wont shift out of first gear
I got a 98 jeep grand cherokee 5.9 limited (auto) it was running fine then sat and didn't run for a week now it wont leave first gear, P R N D work but wont shift up even using 1 to 2. Any thoughts on what i should do?
