Default issues with my 99 zj?

Hi guys,

im brand new to this site, im having a couple of issues with my 99zj 2.5d uk spec and wonderd if anyone had any ideas.....

1) My information display continuously displays that i need to check rear lights, i have checked and re checked, originally i need to replace a number plate bulb, done that and still come up with fault!!!!

2) when i accelerate heavily i hear a clicking going on somewhere near the passenger footwell, maybe from deep within the center console...

Im really struggling with finding the issues

Thanks

Adam

The lights could be a few things there are 3 bulbs in the third brake light and if one is out it will flash that on the screen also if there is any corriosion on them it could trigger a bad voltage reading and give the same message

as for the t case its most likely the viscous coupler going bad if that is the case it might be time to look into a 242 or 231 t case swap
