Internally grounded or externally mounted?
1995 Grand Cherokee 4.0L is the voltage regulator internally or externally mounted to the altenator? or is inside the computer?

Since no one is answering me in the Grand Cherokee chat.....
on the 95 inline 6 cylinder engine, is the regulator rectifier internally mounted in the alternator, or externally? Some one suggested that it is in the ECM. Any one know?
