i have a 95 cherokee sport and im buyin a 96 grand cherokee for $200 the motor doesnt have any compression in it but will parts fit from the 96 to 95 i know body parts wont cuz my 95 is the sport squared style and the grand is rounded but idk wht will fit. Seats, driveshafts, receiver hitch, those are wht i want really off of the 96 but will they fit and wht else will fit any body have any comments?

 

Most of the front suspension will swap, if the engine is the 4.0 it will swap, the front seats might bolt right in. But other than that there is quite a bit different between the two body styles.

 

ok yea also i found a 96 sport tht the tranny is bad in would the tranny fit from the grand cherokee to the sport same year?

 

The 93 4.0L Grand used the AW4 trans, the same as the Cherokee. All others used different transmissions that won't easily work in the regular Cherokee. The electronics are different, even though the 6 cylinder versions might bolt up.
